I certinally had a wonderful time photographing this Friday afternoon wedding on the
Gold Coast for a very lovely couple, Victoria and Davin. What a romantic setting the historic
St Andrews Chapel at the Robina Woods Golf Course makes.
Here is a small helping of pics the wet your appetite. I’m currently working on a slideshow with more photos. I will post it here, as soon as it is done.
This was also the first outing, to a wedding at least, for my recently converted to infrared D70. This was my first digital camera. It has been saved from ebay sale and given a new lease of life with an infrared conversion. No filters or tripod required, no one second plus exposures needed. The tropical vegetation surrounding the chapel are just made for infrared images, I love these results.
Some very brief history on the St Andrews Chapel.
The historic Queensland Church was built in 1883 from pit sawn timber. The church has been restored and relocated from Loganlea to Robina Woods Golf Course and set within lush tropical gardens.
